Perennial usually grown as an annual. Native to California. California State Flower. Free branching from base, stems 8 to 24 inches long. Blooms spring and summer. Drought tolerant.

Uses

Fields, slopes, roadsides, country gardens, parking strips.


Seeding Rates

One ounce to 125 square feet. For non-irrigated areas sow in fall or winter. For irrigated areas sow anytime. Germinates in 10 to 14 days.


Care

Requires little care. Infrequent waterings as necessary.


Availability

Packets available in 1 oz. size. Approximately 18,000 seeds per packet.
